Fundraising at GFA
As a private, non-profit, classical Christian school, we do not accept federal funding, recognizing that such funds inevitably come with government control and interference. Instead, we depend on the generosity of people like you to help advance our mission: providing academically excellent, joyfully classical, Christ-centered education for children and families throughout the Treasure Valley.
Mark your calendars for March 13-14, 2026 for the 75th Annual Quaker Village Auction. This year marks 75 years of the auction and plans are underway for a big celebration– we can’t wait to see you there!
The 2025 Quaker Village Auction was a great success with several hundred people attending throughout the weekend to experience our big annual event. From the grammar students’ artwork, class baskets, children’s cake contest, silent and live auction, food booths, and the paddle raise to meet the Heart of Giving Challenge Match of $45,000, just over $205,000 was raised for the ongoing needs of the school. We are grateful to all who volunteered for many hours to make this event happen. We are also thankful to Corbett Auctions and Appraisals, led by Kent Corbett for their outstanding work as auctioneers to make our auction a fun and active event.

The GFA Gala
The Greenleaf Friends Academy Fall Gala is a joyful occasion where both longtime friends and new supporters of GFA gather for an evening of dinner, fellowship, and celebration. Held each fall, the Gala provides a special opportunity for leaders to share the vision of GFA, celebrate the progress of our mission, and invite our community to partner with us through live and silent auction participation, one-time gifts, and ongoing pledges of support.
Join us Saturday, November 1 at Chateau des Fleurs in Eagle Idaho for the 2025 Fall Gala. Special guests Alan and Lisa Robertson of Duck Dynasty will join us as keynote speakers.
Al served as a pastor for more than 22 years before returning to his family’s business, Duck Commander, the renowned outdoor hunting and recreation company based in West Monroe, Louisiana. As the eldest son of the Robertson family, he appeared on the hit A&E series Duck Dynasty and now co-hosts the popular podcast Unashamed with the Robertson Family. Lisa is co-author of The Women of Duck Commander, written alongside her sisters-in-law and her mother-in-law, Miss Kay. Al and Lisa have co-authored three books, including their latest, Desperate Forgiveness: How Mercy Sets You Free. They travel together throughout America sharing the Gospel of Christ along with their story of brokenness, restoration, and healing in their marriage.
