Greenleaf Friends Academy is a private Christian school serving students in preschool through twelfth grade. Founded in 1908, the Academy is dedicated to the task of providing distinctly Christian education for its students. The Christian worldview controls all areas of the school. Sponsored by the Friends Church, GFA is accredited by the State of Idaho through AdvancEd and is a member of Idaho High School Activities Association.

Greenleaf Friends Academy is seeking a high school girls volleyball head coach to join our athletic department. The ideal candidate will have a vibrant and observable faith in the Lord Jesus, a passion for discipling students, a demonstrable love of self growth, the ability to inspire athletes to pursue excellence on and off the court, along with a willingness to learn more about classical Christian education and implement into daily team routines as possible. Our coaching staff partners with families to cultivate virtue in the lives of their student-athletes as they pursue excellence in all that they do. The ideal candidate will have previous coaching experience, especially in a Christian setting, and will possess a coachable heart and a desire to be part of the Christian community at GFA.
Greenleaf Friends Academy Daycare has part-time openings in our daycare program, specifically looking for closers. Greenleaf Friends Academy is a private, Christian school seeking the ideal candidate with a vibrant and observable faith in the Lord Jesus, a passion for caring for younger children, and the ability to work well with their parents and other staff members. This candidate will also close the building and ensure all areas are clean from the day. This position answers to the Daycare director and desires to be a team player. Must pass a background check and complete compliance requirements for staff.

Greenleaf Friends Academy is seeking a music teacher to lead our storied program . The ideal candidate would be a music generalist able to teach both vocal and instrumental classes. The teacher will oversee the K-12 music program, producing fall and summer concerts and performing at assorted community events. The music program at GFA is an essential part of the classical Christian education students receive and will be a point of excellence. A music teacher at GFA should seek to cultivate in students a love for music through integrating music theory, history, and both instrumental and vocal practice into instruction. A bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field is preferred.

Greenleaf Friends Academy is looking for substitute teachers. This is a part-time position and reports to the Principal. The Academy encourages anyone interested to apply.

Minimum requirements: High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
