Upper School Humanities Teacher

Greenleaf Friends Academy is seeking an Upper School Humanities teacher to join our faculty team. The ideal candidate will have a vibrant and observable faith in the Lord Jesus, a passion for discipling students, a demonstrable love of learning, the ability to inspire students to pursue excellence, and a willingness to learn more about classical Christian education and implement classical methodologies into their own classroom instruction. Any candidate must be open to teaching according to an integrated approach to the humanities – history, literature, theology, art, music, philosophy, etc. – and must show a desire to be part of our school community. A bachelor’s degree in history, literature, philosophy, theology, or a related field is preferred, and a graduate degree is highly valued. State certification is preferred but not required.

Grammar School Teachers

Greenleaf Friends Academy is seeking Grammar School teachers to join our growing faculty team. The ideal candidate will have a vibrant and observable faith in the Lord Jesus, a passion for discipling students, a demonstrable love of learning, the ability to inspire students to pursue excellence, and a willingness to learn more about classical Christian education and implement classical methodologies into their own classroom instruction. Our Grammar School teachers partner with families to cultivate virtue in the lives of their students as they pursue excellence in all that they do. The ideal candidate will have classroom experience, especially in a classical Christian school, and will possess a teachable heart with a love for Christian community. A bachelor’s degree and a state teaching certification are preferred but not required.

Music Department Chair ---  Choral and Instrumental Instructor

Greenleaf Friends Academy is seeking a music teacher to lead our storied program . The ideal candidate would be a music generalist able to teach both vocal and instrumental classes. The teacher will oversee the K-12 music program, producing fall and summer concerts and performing at assorted community events. The music program at GFA is an essential part of the classical Christian education students receive and will be a point of excellence. A music teacher at GFA should seek to cultivate in students a love for music through integrating music theory, history, and both instrumental and vocal practice into instruction. A bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field is preferred.

Substitute Teacher

Greenleaf Friends Academy is looking for substitute teachers. This is a part-time position and reports to the Principal. The Academy encourages anyone interested to apply.

Minimum requirements: High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

School Bus Driver

Employment at Greenleaf Friends Academy is contingent upon the results of an independent background check.

Greenleaf Friends Academy (LOCATED 5 miles WEST of Caldwell) is looking to hire an experienced school bus driver with current CDL and school bus endorsement for our proposed school bus route for the 2023-2024 school year. We will have an am route and a pm route each day. The start date will be mid-August. 

Minimum requirements: Must possess CDL and School Bus Endorsement.
